Mr. Mijares graduated as a Public Accountant in 1973 from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He has over 30 years of experience in auditing, working in the Auditing Division of firms such as KPMG (18 years), Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche (9 years). He was in in charge of the Puerto La Cruz Office, Anzoátegui State. During his career, he attended national and international clients on sectors such as banking, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, oil and oil services.
